I am sure I’m not the only one who thinks cars would be a pretty cool addiction to the game…And what If I say that now you can have them? Yes, that’s true, no kidding!
How could this be? Thanks to the awesome Simmers community, of course! Mod the Sims member Dark Gaia managed to make a mod that brings ownable cars to your Sims!
Let’s see how this whole thing works:
The mod includes five cars, and they range in price from 10000 to §20000. They can be found in the Hobbies and Activities > Misc sort in Function Mode and Outdoors > Activities in Room Mode. They must be placed on terrain and you have to make sure your Sims have enough space to reach them. To drive the cars, just click on them and select ‘Drive To…’ and the map screen will pop out. Once your Sims will get to their chosen destination, they’ll receive a ‘Traveled in Style’ +3 emotional moodlet,and (this is super awesome!) the emotion of it will depend on which car your Sim used!

This mod is compatible with all the expansions and stuff packs released so far, and it should work also if you have the base game only.
Of course, the cars don’t have any animations because, as the mod developer says ‘EA didn’t design the meshes to be animated’ so there’s nothing much that can be done about this, but I personally think the mod is pretty cool also without animations.
As always, remember to follow the installations instructions on the mod download page very, very carefully, and please note that you should register a free account on Mod The Sims website in order to download the mod.

Многих игроков интересует вопрос, где в симс 4 найти машину, либо как её купить. К сожалению, пока что в игре Симс 4 нельзя купить машину, на которой можно ездить на работу, по городу или на природу. Разработчикам пришлось прибегнуть к этому из-за того, что они отказались от идеи открытого мира как это было в The Sims 4. Но некоторым игрокам очень не хватает транспорта, не столько для того чтобы ездить на нём, а скорее чтобы просто подчеркнуть социальный статус своих симов и похвастаться новым спорткаром перед соседями!
Именно для таких игроков мы сейчас и опишем 3 способа получить машину в The Sims 4! Но заранее предупреждаем вас, что во всех 3-х способах автомобиль будет исключительно декоративным, вы не сможете использовать его по назначению для перевозки своих симов и симок, и многим это может показаться бесполезным. Ну а если вы как и я считаете что декор это важно, перейдем к первому способу!
Перейдите в режим строительства и откройте вкладку «предметы по назначению». В разделе для детей вы найдете несколько игрушечных машинок.
Выбирайте ту, которая вам больше понравилась и размещайте ее на участке.
Мило, правда? Теперь нам нужно увеличить машину до подходящего размера. В игре Симс 4 можно увеличивать предметы с помощью одновременного нажатия кнопок:
SHIFT+]
Кнопка ] — это квадратная скобка (твердый знак в английской раскладке).
В режиме строительства выделите машину инструментом «рука» и нажимайте несколько раз подряд комбинацию Shift+]. Если изменения сразу не произошли, то просто пошевелите мышкой.
Теперь можем построить гараж, просто постройте коробку из 4-х стен, покройте её сайдингом, и выделите ворота колонами и сайдингом другого цвета. Можно так-же сделать боковую дверь для симов, либо и вовсе построить гараж в плотную к дому!
После чего загоняем наш новенький автомобиль в гараж, прекрасно не правда ли?
Я бы назвал этот способ скорее дедовским способом, потому что качество автомобиля очень сильно отстает от игры, и если вы хотите чтобы все было красиво смотрите 3-ий урок ниже, ну а мы пока что перейдем ко второму способу!
Второй способ это использование специальных кодов, при помощи которых в нашем распоряжении может оказаться любая машина из тех, что ездят по городу The Sims 4.

И так, вы выбрали инетесные вам автомобили. скачали их, что дальше? Выделяем все скаченные файлы и перемещаем их в папку /Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods, после чего заходим в игру!
Переходим в режим строительства, слева снизу выбираем «предметы по назначению«, после чего жмем «показать все«. После чего справа снизу нажимаем на сортировку, выбираем «материалы» и ставим галочку на «дополнительные материалы«. У вас появится список со всеми скачанными СС, будь то машины либо объекты для постройки гаража.
Выбираем понравившиеся, и устанавливаем их на участок, либо в гараж!
Совсем другой вид, не правда ли? Ну и поставим набор для гаража, про который я говорил ранее:
На этом всё, очевидно что первые два способа можно было и не описывать, но для полноты картины мы это сделали!

Do you like cars? Do you miss the old sense of accomplishment that Sims 3 gave you when you bought your first car? Than this mod pack is for you! This is a mod pack that I created with every car mod I found. With this you’ll have access to a list of more than 200 new cars!
Although you can’t drive any of them ( I believe ), because there’s still no way you can drive anything in the Sims 4, you can still have the cars for display as a luxurious decoration in your garage. I know that for some of you that’s disappointing but if you’re someone like me, someone who really loves cars, you know that there’s nothing cooler than owning that classic dream car you’ve always wanted.
I also edited all the prices of the cars since all of the mods I found had a price range of about 0§ to 20§, and that way you couldn’t get any sense of achievement. In that case, all the cars now have more realistic pricings compared to the Sims world. I researched how much was a Simoleon worth and found out that 1 Simoleon was about 3 US dollars. With that in mind I just converted every real world pricing of a specific car by dividing it by three. If you want to buy a 250.000$ Lamborghini, you’ll have to pay approximately 83.350§. To find the cars simply enter Build-Mode, go to Objects by Function, then in the right corner filter the items by content and select Custom Content. All the cars should be there. I play in a version of the game with all the expansions but I’m pretty sure that you can install this mod pack without any of them.

THANK YOU! I absolutely get the idea behind putting ad relays with creator’s downlaods – I truly do. But some of them were literally (and I do mean that) unpossible to download due to sheer overload of p0rn ad browser pop-ups – times the amount of cars you would like to download. And You even posted that on google drive. I cannot thank you enough, good sire!
And I do sure hope that this will remain up and available.

I love this mod, it worked perfect for me. The last person said he had some NSFW ads I didn’t get any of those. It’s completely safe to download. This highly recommended if ur looking for some cars.

Introduction
The Sims 4 is a great game, but there are a lot of things missing from previous games. Something I really missed from TS2 and TS3 was the ability for my Sims to own and drive cars to community lots. My Sims kept getting jealous seeing all those decorative cars driving by their house every day, and so I decided to bring drivable cars back to the game so my Sims could hit the road too. Now with this mod, your Sims can own and drive the very same cars that they see on the road every day. They don’t have to be jealous anymore!
Mod Effects
This mod adds five (5) drivable cars to the game. The cars range in price from §10000 to §20000 and can be found in the Hobbies and Activities > Misc sort in Function Mode and Outdoors > Activities in Room Mode.
The cars must be placed on terrain, but they can go anywhere on your lot and as long as your Sims can reach them, they can use them. To drive the cars, simply click on them and use the “Drive to…” interaction. Your Sim will approach the car and the map screen will appear. When your Sim arrives at their chosen destination, they’ll receive a “Traveled in Style” +3 emotional moodlet – the emotion of this moodlet will depend on which car your Sim used.
The cars, their prices and their associated emotions are as follows:
Smoogo Minima – costs §10000 and gives the driver a Playful moodlet.
Smord P328 – costs §12500 and gives the driver a Focused moodlet.
Tofunda Wagon – costs §15000 and gives the driver an Energized moodlet.
Vorn Stallion – costs §17500 and gives the driver a Flirty moodlet.
Bwan Speedster YL – costs §20000 and gives the driver a Confident moodlet.
Compatibility
This mod was created in a game that has all packs installed, but it only uses files from the base game, so it should be base game compatible. It should also work for all patch levels, as the included tuning and interactions are unique to these objects.
Known Issues
The cars don’t actually move and there aren’t any animations for using them. This can’t really be helped, as EA didn’t design the meshes to be animated anyway.

Sims 4 Studio for allowing me to extract the meshes and edit the tuning, Scumbumbo for his tutorial on adding custom interactions to objects, and EA for making a good, but incomplete game.
